Being malaysian

On saturday night , 26th december 2009 , it was truly a sad day for a few . Just a day after celebrating xmas , what was suppose to be a joyous festival that should have lasted for 15 days , end abruptly on the 2nd day for 4 victims . To those who read the front page of the STAR news paper today , u will know what i'm talking about , if not you can look it up here (http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2009/12/28/nation/5372982&sec=nation) . Not risking sounding like a news report , i'm gonna elaborate why i feel the need to blog about this .


*Disclaimer : What you are gonna read is abit sensitive and might risk sounding very bitter . But rest assured , i do not mean EVERYONE in singapore , just a select few . Do not be mistaken , i love the country singapore , but i can't stand the few who claims what i'm gonna elaborate now and yes , my grandma is a singaporean and she's lovely . So no , i do not mean everyone in Singapore .


Well well , as you all know , singaporeans always pride themselves as being the most well behaved , well mannered , sikap bermoral bunch as compared to us uncivilized and lazy malaysians . Partly because of the difference in the rate of developement in both our countries . You see , they failed to realise ( as smart as they claim to be ) , Malaysia's VAST land and the millions and millions of ppl in it ( who they claim are lazy )are FAR more harder to handle and control as compared to their lil tiny island which is not much bigger than 0.1 % of our land , wait correction 0.0001 % . So u tell me , can u do it 100000 times better if u were in msia ? Which means , 100000 times more effort , 100000 times more money , 100000 times more hardwork , 100000 times more tolerance to ignorant idiots who claim they're better , etc ......

If u ask me , i think we malaysians are not bad already , you do see the occasional singaporean humping their cars just to squeeze a few MLs of petrol in their cars , not knowing why a tiny space was put there in the first place , just because they love our country's (tax payers i WILL add ),cheaper priced petrol instead of their overprice ones in singapore . Geez , do u see a malaysian humping their cars ? High 5 for malaysians for being more civilise here .

Oh u always hear how we Malaysians have no respect for the law and drive like blind monkeys on the road . Yes , i do agree some of us Malaysians drive like monkeys and it's a bit horrific how we got our driving license issued in the first place. But what say you to the foreign (red/white S plates)monkeys who come into our country and drive like there's no tomorrow just because they think our law here in Malaysia is not worth respecting just because of their notions that "Oh Malaysia ar , nevermind la , nothing will happen to me if i break the law , uncivilized what they all " .ARGH rite ! It's like saying that u behave so nicely at home , but SHIT all over the place when u go to another person's home . So who is more uncivilise here ? Shouldn't it be the other way around ?

So after reading the newspaper today , what anger me the most is that how singaporeans claim they are so good and so much more ATAS than us all when they themselves failed to do what they judge us for in the first place . SOmething so simple as signalling or slowing down had caused 4 lives that night . I manage to witness it first hand as my family was driving back to Muar over the weekend. It was a very tragic and freak accident . Very sad . That's probably why this accident affects me the most , more than others .Life is short , can u imagine if i had leave my house maybe 15 minutes earlier? or the S place car came later ? SO many what Ifs. We were driving on the same route , same direction as the van ,very scary thought . It's no fun seeing victims crying over their departed ones while the vehicle was still burning , flames flying everywhere like it was gonna engulf the ppl around it . Thankfully , our MALAYSIAN bomba was there to save the day , not forgetting the police and the medical team .


I understand that this accident was no one's fault . It could easily happen to anyone , heck , statistic shows that they are more accidents that happen involving msians , caused by malaysians in Malaysia . But DUH ! it's malaysia rite , obviously there will be more msians on the road . But how can any singaporeans claim to be more law abiding when one simple stupid mistake (which breaks the law btw) have caused such a freak accident is beyond me . FYI , being more civilise means holding on to your principal where ever you go and not selective places . You do not see a monkey stealing bananas from selective places do you ?

So please , do not claim to be something when u do not follow ur principal when u set foot in our country . It does not make you better than us in any way . It makes you look worse .



So tell me , how bad are Malaysians now huh .




*This post in no way is intended to offend anyone , it is a truly sad event and i wish the victim's family well . It is just very unfortunate that something as simple as slowing down cause 4 lives that night and it could happen to anybody. Something to take back and think about .
